Went to boulmer today with the family went for a walk along the beach at low tide found loads of empty peeler shells so thought i wud dig through some seaweed ended up coning home with a half a bucket full of peeler ready to peel so gunna strip n freeze them for my next session happy days

Duuno mate only been once... dya know where the bar is and car park i walked down the beach toward the farn island lighthouse found the peeler in the flat yellow/white rocks under weed

Then fishing boat inn. When I'm in that place the last thing on my mind is Peeler! Lol. I may have to change that and go for a wonder !

being down on roker beach looking for some this morning went down 9:35 ish low tide spent 2 hours looking found loads of small crabs not worth using though, but I did get looky and manage to get 5 with the shells half of size was about 70 mm by 60 mm, put my foot right in a pool trying to catch one, so plodged of after that.
have just peeled them and put them in with my maki in freezer till next week.
I did notice that when the tide was right out there were big areas in between the rocks were I seen loads of rag caseing and holes in the sand, wish I had a fork with me.

70cm by 60cm! That's going to be a big scary crab. I'd be running the other way!

Not need any peeler If you stick that thing on the end of your line, it'll catch you some fish.

was up there with the little one near low tide this afternoon. theres plenty worm casts so if id had a fork I imagine plenty rag worm but only a few peelers found and the shells were no where near ready to peel so left them to it. plenty hard back crabs and small hermit crabs in the rock pools but nothing ready to peel
