Did you get booked Eddie for Norway, some lad on WSF has two spots to Loppa (just up from where we went last year) £1100 all in for Mid July.

And yes see you on the boat soon, i am hoping to fire her up 3rd weekend in March and no issues willing be out the 1st weekend in April.


Ow back to braid........did a check on my three reels today, tie the braid around a post and pull hard until it snaps...by the cuts in the protective glove its safe to say that after 9 years, 4 years and 2 years the three fireline braids still going strong minus some of the coating and colouring.

no leader - more expense and hassle...as said mono rigs are your weak point anyway

Used the "cheap" chinese braid this season (such as it was) and it did just fine...if you're happy to wairt a month to get it

Order some now and you'll be ready for spring!

Are we there yet???...pretty much given up the shore fishing this season, which apart from the odd good fish and bags here and there seems to have mirrored the boat season (as was) in its hit and missedness
