Breakaway Cannon

Using fixed spool and braid I use a glove for casting. But it's a pain taking it on and off. Has anyone tried one of those cannon things ? Any good ?

Am trying one out at the moment,feels a bit strange at first but soon get used to it .Well worth having.

I use 1 all the time when using a fixed spool both for beachfishing and casting on the field and once you get used to the release its very good . If you wind the line round the cannon 3 or so times you can cast with the spool in its highest position away from the bail arm as it stops any pressure being applied to the spindle and therefore eliminating the chances of bending it when when casting the bigger leads .
