breakaway impact leads

does anyone know if you can make them?sick of paying 2 quid a lead

Used to use the Impact Leads all the time but don't bother with them now. Get all my leads off Dusty Bin in Horden nowadays, Namix flat backs with a built in bait clip think I paid a shade over £30 for 50 leads last time.

Top bloke and top leads - look him up in the classifieds

dosnt realy matter what lead you use up here except for certain conditions and the likes of the river tyne tide pull up here is minimal not like the beaches around kent area.

cant see the point of buying expensive leads up here, some leads may give you a bit extra distance but again not as important to me as it used to be years ago fishing the likes of the blast beach and lynmouth my opion of course.

yea but cant find the impact ones mate i love these leads great bait clip and they do cast rurther hold bottom great to only used on clean beaches as to expensive and am tight lol

Breakaway have copyright on most of their products. You can make your own leads but if you wan't exact copies of impact leads then you will have to buy them.

I love the original green ones for fishing 3 hooks but hate the new plastic nose leads, a backward step in my eyes.

Namix leads are good but dig in on a clay bottom, same with impact shields.

Imps are good but are more prone to tangling with multi hook rigs and also put the bait a little bit further behind the lead reducing distance, not by much is guess.

The original impact is still the best for multi hook rigs, namix for a single bigger bait.

i disagree i find the green impacts but a bait out further than namix well a worm bait

A lot depends if your getting wobble or a spinning bait, that kills any distance dead. I've got 2 different kinds of namix with different bait clips built in. One type is seriously better than the other, one type wobbles like hell the other is spot on!! The crap ones get used in the rough ground LOL.
