wheres the fish?

Well-known member
Hey guys, Just a report on the session i had today at a mark no more than 5 mins away from where i live.

Short and sweet, 5 hours. 29 fish, average size 32cm. All flounder. = Me a very happy bunny, and my gf even happier as she was actually catching something.

Amazing sport from bait you can get at your local supermarket. Only bait used was mackerel. They weren't taking anything else. Guy up from me was using fresh peeler he got nothing. It just seemed to be the bait of the day. :) I haven't had sport like it for years. Very happy with this mark. Its the first time ive been here and i think ill be returning.

:Dill bet he even casts for the lass:D:D:D

I used to, she can cast now. Put in the time on a feild with a bouncy ball (didn't want any windows out ;) ) :P but aye she's a typical lass. I do everything else. Bait up, make rigs etc. Oh and carry the stuff << but it's a great feeling seeing them do the rest on their own :) makes you kinda proud to know the only reason they can do it is because of you :P off plugging on Tuesday gonna snatch myself a few bass :) wish me luck lol :)

cracking session mate, my lass used to come until we had kids lol but its a matter of time before the jameaters must come :o

well done.

sounds like yous had a good day? where bouts is this mark? any 1 let me nah please

Newcastle business park, the one close to Newcastle city center. There is a British Airways building within it. Further along there is a turn down to a car park. You fish there. :) Great mark, easy to get to both if you have a car and not as the number 22 bus runs there.

I use to fish there when a was a youngin absolutly love the place like i live 10 mins from it really handy and some massive flounder aswell
