Well i will be up watching it. I just hope they win otherwise Sir Clive is on a hiding to nothing after his team selection. Not only for playing Johnny instead of Hansen, but playing an out of form Robinson, who i think should not be playing, in Lewseys best position. But poor Sheridan the one prop the all blacks are frightened of, not even in the squad. And a sadly out of form Richrad Hill getting the nod, i can only say, I hope I have to eat my words as i would love the Lions to win.

Outscrummaged, outjumped, out thought, couldnt pass, they did tackle well at times, mind they had to, as thats all they had to do as they got no ball, good job it was not a sunny dry day otherwise they would have been chasing shadows.

the only ones who can hold their heads up are Peel, Lewsey and Jones
and Wilkinson for his tackling

One more thing...our lass is doing her nut cos she thought she\'d have some peace from sport on the telly when the football season ended. Now theres the ashes and Nat West AND the Lions tour :D

She should be thankful I don\'t watch the Grand prix\'s or Wimbledon anymore!!

I do not belive it, that they got away scott free for speartackling Brian O\'Driscoll, especially after the clip on the tele last night. From a slightly elevated posistion you could clearly see, that after the ball had gone that they lifted himup and rammed him into the ground.
Silly Danny Grewcock, two months ban for biting, well he is a LION

Just what has Andrew Sheridan got to do to get into the team, he has demolished his opposite prop in every game he has played, laid on try scoring passes and everytime he gets the ball in hand he is gauranteed to get over the game line. Not even on the bench. Nice to see Siur Clive has picked some in form players but still do not agree with playin a very out of form Robinson. Make or break time Saturday morning

Alarm set already for a day of sport tomorrow...The Lions stuffing the all blacks and England walloping the Aussies :D

Well I can dream.....

Hoping to catch a replay of it later. My Sky box has broken and the guy isn\'t coming to sort it till 10:00. :casstet: :casstet: :casstet:

Well what can you say, at least the forwards competed this week and got about an even sahre of the ball and gave the scrum half something to work with, but unfortunately after that, well think we need a fly half andd acouple of centres then we might see the wings get some ball.
One defineing moment for me was with the lions 7-0 up and the All Blacks panicing Paul O\'Connell gave adaft penalty away a couple of yrad out when a Lions try looked a cert. Found some of the All Blacks tactics dubious, taking out players and just obstructing others to put them out fo their stride, South Africa use this tactic a lot as well. A very vigilant ref what have disallowed two All Balcks trys. But you can not take it away from the All Balcks they played some subllime rugby.

Off to Tynemouth RNLI day, anyone interested it starts about 11am

certainly did a good job but all those once the ball left his hands could of had a bucketful of trys once. Interesting to see if Ian McGeehan has anything o say about the tour and selection when they have returned home, being a brilliant coach and motivator. Bet like an honourable man he will say nothing to the press.
