Budget Rods

Around the £100 mark what rods should I be looking at for general beach work? Suggestions please.

Sonik SK3,from NETS,got my son one for xmas and came with rod holdall,fish bag,and rig wallet.Dont know if they still have that offer on .Its a decent rod as well.

I agree Sonik SK3 is good, really happy with mine.

no mate the not got the deal on anymore i know 2 people who have snapped them one a good caster the other a novice

sk3 is ok rod for the price m8 people break greys rods century rods etc doesnt stop people buying them tho m8 if i had a choice just like some1 else had said if you fishing the likes of craster, newton ad buy the ron thompson axellerator 5-7oz they seem alot sturdier in the ruff stuff.

Penn Powerstick 13ft great rods 4-6oz, light weight and cast well

The sk3 is a nice blank to cast and fish with but unless they have changed them the rings are cheap and prone to breaking, so if your a bit rough on your gear look elsewhere. I'm not a fan of the R.Accell but as they say one mans sh-te is another mans bread and butter. Personal Opinion.
The only reason the SK3 sells is down to the guarantee/warranty. Buyers feel safe in the knowledge that when and not if it breaks it will be replaced.
