Is Blyth pier and Cambios pier the same thing? I'm looking for a session there on Sat monring but don't know the area at all.

Can anyone give me information about local marks? i'm just after a bit better action rather than sticking with Roker all the time:question:

Have a look at catch reports page 5 look for post Fished Cambois Again bit of info on a high tide mark.

blyth pier is the smaller wooden pier that is fishable all through the tide, easy and allowed access. (east pier)

Cambois pier is the massive long concrete pier that you are not supost to fish on, has a light house at the end. you can fish it, but not a place to go by yourself on your 1st time there.

the 2 piers are only a few hundred yards apart but, you have a canny drive to get from one to another.

blyth pier (wooden pier) will be better for you.

bang blyth in the satnav, once at the big beach round about (new housing estate being built there) head straight over. carry on that road, you will see the beach on your right, carry on that road until you pass some monster 3 story houses on your right, you will see a caravan storage unit behind these houses, turn right after that. park you car in the wee gravel car park infront of the storage unit. walk along the path that runs along side a high concrete wall until you see the pier enterance. have fun ;D

wooden pier will be worth a shot, has been a nice sea picking up, will fish the way the wind is blowing at the min, just need to catch it at the right time ;D
