i have just got a carbon metal bb 15 foot beach caster used a couple of times they are class any body else got one and what do you think

I ordered one, but haven\'t got it yet. Looking forward to giving it a thrash.
Looked at a few of the longer rods, but that was the one that took my fancy. Probably influenced by my standard CM, which is a great rod. If this is as good I\'ll be well satisfied.

i was looking at that one ,
whats it like in the rough stuff? the length puts me off a bit coz i dont want it pulling all over the shop when theres a rough sea & strong tide but i was also looking at the express which seems to be a bit stiffer & its a bit shorter a 13ft odd. im yet to decide , i wish someone would review both rods!

all the carbon metals are good rods but not for the rough stuff m8

im pretty sure the express would handle it rod.
its stiffer than the rod ive used for the last 5 yrs which i havent had many problems with. but nearly 2ft longer.

i was on blyth pier not long ago and a lad had a 3pounder on a bb the rod looked like it had a 13 pounder on it they are very nice rods but nowere like the stiffnes ass a nemmesis slr ive casted a few times of a express loverly to cast but i wouldnt like to bully a biggn in with it

as i have said i have a nemisis plus slr and a bb and if you put theme side by side and do a stiffness test the bb is stiffer then the slr

my problem is i dont like overly stiff rods , i like to see my bites and i like to feel the fish. isnt that part of the fun trying to bully big fish?

No way is the BB stiffer than a nemesis plus slr kingfisher,i had a play with both yesterday and the slr is 3x stiffer. Not saying the BB isnt a nice rod,it is but has limited uses and rough ground/kelp certainly aint suited to it.

Just read the review of the 15ft carbon metal bb by Barney Wright and he was over the moon with it,
really got me intrested I have A Kompressor sport for the rocks but cant bend it when I want some distance this sounded really good for my sort of fishing on lynemouth beach or blyth,

would love to try before I buy
