ok guys please be patient with me as i am new to the fresh water stuff, to be honest i have not drowned a magget yet but i am looking too start in august.
ok i am looking at starting carp fishing as my job restricts me from sea fishing due to distance and shifts. can any one of you kind gental men out there give some pointers in the type of kit i will need, i have looked at rods, pods, spods, markers, nets, mats, and the list gose on but it seems so expensive to get started. is there a basic setup you require for a good days carp fishing or do yo need to be like a pack horse and carry all of that kit listed above to have a day out.
please help this clueless sea angler to enjoy the sounds and sights of a man made pond.
regards
scott
