ok, i put my back out at work and i\'m only 18 lol. previously i could cast around 140-50 yards. but since i\'ve had my injury i have been casting using an overhead thump so as not to aggravate my back. obviously distance has been massively reduced. with my back feeling alot better lately i decided to have a few casts over the garden fence this evening (don\'t worry it\'s all fields behind my house). problem being i can\'t seem to get back to my normal casting technique and fluffed up 90% of my casts quite badly. i\'m going to have another go tomorrow and if it\'s the same story i\'m going to have to do something about it. i don\'t know if i\'m holding back self consciously beacause of the fear of nacking my back up again or if my confidence is shot but fishing marks that mainly need a 100+ yard chuck i need to sort something out.
so has anyone got any numbers for casting instructers in the north east? i hope it doesn\'t come to this as it took me forever to get a decent chuck that suits me in the first place and i feel like i\'m starting all over again. it\'s a nightmare. any help is much obliged.
cheers,
