Out 2-day on catch 22 out of sunderland..just enough rods to make it a relatively tangle free experience...despite early forecasts ..i.e.mackerel but not a lot else the previous couple of days..we got into a few fish early on,and to be fair kinda kept up at that level throughout the days fishing...cod...several to 8 ib..the heaviest catch being one of 9.8ozs..which took the sweep of a fiver a man on the boat...well done Ian...first time boat fishing and ya nailed it m8..shads mainly doing the bis...various colours of...squid lures proved fairly effective late afternoon(why is that)...young kev bagged the most cod but just missed out on heaviest fish...me?...toss all...a couple of pollack...but hey...its the taking part...right!...tks.again to Bob the skipper and Bill...two top guys(If ya did,nt know already!)...See ya soon hopefully.
