I doubt there is any rod that will suit all those.
Always going to have to have a all rounder that will cope but not be perfect for all types of marks or rods for designed and built for one use.
Lol @ Coddy. I agree with Paul and I would look at something that would deal with the rocks and the pier. You can still use it on the beach but in time you can go for something else that is more suitable for beach use. It will be the same with your reel, you will either put light line or heavier line on it and the heavier rock line is not suitable for casting on a beach, especially if you have to fish at any distance. In the same way the light line will be no good for rock fishing unless you are wanting to tie a new shockleaer after almost every cast.
id say go for the tip tornado sport mate the i find the ss is a little to stiff but the tip tornado seems to be a great all round rod ive had both old and new and both are great just my opinion
The Daiwa X S 130XM is my prefered choice for pier and rock fishing, an absolute cracker of a rod, had mine nearly three years now and cannot fault it. Brand new cost £215, from Spotty Dog tackle in Stockton.
I would love one of those tip tornados. There was one shop in sea angler which actually sold them on interest free credit. Makes sense when you think the rod is worth £300-thats some dosh.
The old kompressor sport was a cracking rod for clean beach/mixed ground work, which is what i used mine for, the new generation kompressor sport range ,ie s and ss are somewhat different .the ss has a mega firm tip which some say has poor bite detection and the s is slightly more user friendly , ie softer .for a few quid more the wr300 is and cracking alrounder for clean/rough ground and pier fishing, and proper work horse. of course the choice is yours
