Areet chaps was wondering what your thoughts on this rod I am looking to buy one but wanting ur advice and experiences with this rod anything would help lads cheers

The e1000 is a very powerfull rod ideal suited for a 7oz lead bite detection isn't great in my opinion for the small stuff like whiting etc but still spotable the rod itself is ideal for over heavy ground pity you didn't live closer as you could have had a chuck of mine

Very kind of u deano I'm not a whiting man me self fish the rocks a lot so sounds good to me I have been told about the 7 oz lead to get a bend in It I think I'm sold ha ha cheers for the feedback mate

lol unless ur a tournement caster ya wont be bending one lol mine felt very top heavy but a great rod just didnt suit me felt a bit big and clumbsy if u need the extra lenght grat if not i prefer the wr300

I already have a new Kompressor ss but fancied another rod for heavy Kelpy places and I want to go Norway and didn't know what rod would be good for it

he knows his sfuff yea he organizes trips he is the guide for them out there for a company called din tur have a look on you tube he has not long been back

definately tip heavy they feel a bit unbalanced to me but everybody to there own prefer the zziplex m427 su to eliminater

I want to got to Norway at least once every two years so I'm gonna gt one me I've heard that a new century rods coming out the Excalibur supposed to be the dogs wot nots

I took a ss to norway and it handled better than my ttr they are cracking rods probs the best allrounder however I seen the e1000s in action in norway and they are a serious piece of kit hence why I bought one Gary landed cod to over 20lb with his and it looked easy as for top heavy yes they are but after a few trips out you get used to it

Deano use sold me it ha ha I use namix 61/4 leads also and I've just bought the 63/4 mould so I am happy do u get to norway much like I'd love to go but getting people together is a bit of a chore u got any info on it ie price of flights accommodation and transfers and bait and gear to take

a friend of mine from seaham took his eliminater to norway last march and it was no prob at all swing big fish in with it.

as for having to be tournie caster to use one, why it all depends how far you want to put bait or baits.

eliminater just not for me but plenty like them its up to the individual what they like.

breakages i hav,nt heard of an eliminter breaking and they have been out a while now.
