century t 1000

Lads some of you are dissing the rod because its quite stiff and its new and costs money? Well its designed for rough ground that's why its stiffish and strong. I fished with a lad tis morning who used it into the rock shelves and kelp it looked effortless casting, pulling through heavy snags and pulling fish through kelp. This rod has been designed for this, it looked a great fishing rod and showed bites very well. New things cost money.... it has titanium k-wags you cant get a zippy with these as standard... plus a great build etc. I love the rod but cant afford it, but still would love one!!!!

not knocking the rod myself its just come out and sounds good but why arnt century rods harder to come by in blank form than say a zziplex blank.

John I think your just wanting some kind of argument here, try the rod then have an opinion, zziplex seem to specialise in blanks or blanks that are built by specialised fishing shops. All I'm stating is what I've seen of the rod. Its a belter, worth saving up for!

Did you catch owt any size ? Hope you didn't scratch the new rod , :) if you did could be a bargain in for sale section soon. Phil you've had more rods than i've had pints in the Catholic club.

no not after argument at all not after zziplex versus century thread either .i have and will probaly use century rods in the future just an observation about blank availability.

i have just bought a zziplex blank but like most have thought of the new century model they may well be the best thing since sliced bread who knows.

just an observation as already said they do look stiff very.

If you read up on k guides you'll realize they all have titanium frames from alconite it to sic k's.
