I\'m stumped, Dave 
(but it doesn\'t take a lot to do that where computers are concerned....lol).
Hope Mark can suss out what your problem is - he\'s FAR more techie minded than I\'ll ever be.

Just been in the chatroom and noticed your comment about letting peeps know if there\'s anybody in.
I think the only thing you CAN do, is to post on the Board, in advance, your intention to be in the chatroom at a certain time. That way, if peeps wanna join you for a chinwag, they\'ll know when you\'ll be there.
I think the most that\'s been in at one time is around 5 - and that one went on until the wee small hours...

go to admit it kinda has me puzzled as well! Not sure why Dave is having problems,
the only other thing that I can think of is an issue over cookies/firewalling on his PC. The chatroom does deliver a cookie which holds your user ID buts thats all it does. If the cookie doesn\'t get through, when you get to the chat room proper, you might get canned straight away as the cookie needs to send you ID which each message.
Firewalls... well I\'m clutching at straws here, as apart from the cookie, nothing else needs to get at your browser.
