CHEQUE HAND-OVER: DATE / TIME / PLACE

Had confirmation from Michael Charlton today that he can make it for the cheque hand-over.

DATE: Thursday 08.01.04
TIME: 8:00pm
VENUE: Earl of Zetland (Roayal Quays marina)

A cheque for £700.00 will be presented to the RNLI on behalf of NESA.
The money was raised though;
1. the shore comp we had in November
2. personal donations form NESA members
3. a football card run by Ian Walters at Siemens
4. money already lying in NESAs RNLI account.

If you\'ve got nothing planned for the night of the 8th, why not come down to the Zetland

Thank you and well done to all who helped raise a total of nigh-on £3,000 foe the RNLI - THIS YEAR ALONE !!!

I\'ve just e-mailed the news release to A.C. and the Shields Gazette.

I realise that making the deadline may now have passed, but I only got confirmation of the date & time from Michael Charlton yesterday.

Well, I e-mailed the \"news release\" off to the Shields Gazette a few days ago, not really expecting anything to come of it....BUT.... there it was in tonights\' Gazette......
