could anyone please tell me where the nearest above are in my area (stockton) having been told they sell some good shellfish that can be used for bait, and has anyone tried them.

My mate Ian was in there last week. He got me a bag of razer for a fiver. Good hook size baits but razers.
There are about 50-100 plus razers in the bag but they are smaller shells than the packs you buy in the tackle shops.

Sorry cant help with any shops in your area (stockton) but the thai food shops also have a good selection if you have any near by. I picked up 1 kilo of baby squid yesterday for 2.50 some good size squid, washington inshops has a small thai shop. They also stock prawn, soft shell crab,razor etc

I have not had a chance to try it yet, but i have a few squid stuffed with it, along with lug, mussel, frozen down on pennel rigs. Once poked through with your baiting needle a few times before casting out it will be another scent oozing im sure.
