well santa wasnt fetching me any cod this year lol so i had to go out and look for some myself ,me and my camera man stu we decided to hit tynemouth pier many miles away from the docks which for me was an out of bounds on xmas day(night)we arrived around teatime loaded with fresh lug and ragwormz we hit the end and set up .the camera man was first into a fish (ho ho ho) a good size coalie about a 1lb (which the camera man was telling iz aye ya usually get coalies as darkness comes in) he was right for the fisrt time ever since i knew him but none for me lol
then i too gets a nice pull on the rod tip which produced a size dab around 27cm,s canny bite for such a see through thing
then the camera man wanted some of the dab action too and he gets a better one around 31cm,s we had plenty dabs like most ive had in one session
then it was almost every cast we was into codling some undersize some were size but some went back unharmed believe it or not every fish when thrown over head dived and swam away
the camera mans hands was frozen at this time and didnt take all pics of codling
i had 4 size fish heres a bag i took home 5 fish for 9lb.4 couple 2.5lbers amonst them
3 fish i kept and 2 for the cold camera man and i rather enjoyed been out fishing rather than sat at home drunk internet fishing lol
thought we was the only fisherman out that night how wrong was i a guy turned up from whitley bay forum browser too he had 3 size codling also nice to meet you mr
