Apologies for not updating but so far we have

Beach Rod, multi reel, spinning rod reel, line and terminal tackle. Adjustable tripod, some waterproofs, the book as mentioned above and I'm going to dig out a headtorch to go with as well.

I'll get the pictures up tomorrow with bit more info.
