Had a short 2 hour session upto top water this morning. Baits used blacks and macky ended up with 6 flounders best around 1lb 8oz most about the 1lb mark.

All returned today, i do sometimes eat the odd flounder usually if caught from the open sea from clean sandy beaches, estuary flounders can taste a little earthy, however if you soak the fillets in salty water overnight it removes the earthy taste. As with all fishing keep what you will use return the rest.

good advice that m8 no good ppl taken fish home and then throwing them out. makes total sense to throw them back in if ya dont wana eat them
