The season kicked off with 29 anglers fishing on fairly flat sea conditions,11 anglers did manage to return to the scales with fish. Mainly red cod and the odd Chicken and flatty.

Good to see some of the lads that went fishing 25 years or so ago are still going strong. Once Went digging up to Budle Bay with Geordie all them years ago. I was crap and got bugger all so Geordie shared some of his with me. Good bloke.
