As Mick has said - consider Longbenton SAC. £10 per year for a senior - £5 for a junior. Nothing else to pay. All sweeps are voluntary. 48 matches on Tynemouth Pier + 12 Nighthawk matches. Weekends away fishing + a canny social life too. Monthly club meetings at The Northumberland Arms, West Allotment. Membership of a club is cheap so maybe join more than one? You will then have loads of dates and opportunities to fish, make new mates and learn a stack about fishing.
