Cod 11lb 7oz returned

Noel Blockley fishing northumberland tonight caught landed weighed and released a cod of 11lb 7oz ,
the fish was caught using a lug tipped with squid bait on his new rod then weighed on digital scales before being released , a camera on a phone was all that was to hand so sorry for the bad picture (it does not do justice to the fish at all)
he also had another 2 fish biggest 2lb 9oz also released

Well done on the fish, nice to see it returned. As I don't eat a lot of fish I would hope I'd do the same if it wasn't for eating. Some people get too hung up about release of table fish, it's a personal choice.
