cod in a blizzard

Fished on Middleton pier friday,in the snow,about twelve guys fishing.
Caught my biggest ever cod of about six or seven pounds(sorry no scales)
Thanks to the bloke who handballed it up the wall for me,needless to say i was chuffed to bits,forgot all about the cold,and it makes up for all the times i have blanked.It was taken on frozen blacks mussel and squid cocktail.
Cant wait to get back out this weekend.
