Cod of the rathouse

Just been told last night a bloke had two codling of the rathouse one ten and a half pounds and one six and a half, was told this in the ryhope competition that i fished tonight obviously when the conditions are right the fish come in, or when it is massive massive they come in. Fresh crab was what the fish were taken on, he is a well now angler who had taken the fish as well.

well done, to the man who got the fish or should i say three fish he must of obviously been doing something right as there wasn't many fish there even upto 6lb was a bonus of that place last winter, but again we never had the big seas which are normally expected which send codling into the wear. Roll on the next big sea i will be at the old north pier with a bucket full of fresh crab and boulmer worm LOL

fish to 8 lbs caught at seaham on wednesday and thursday ,mick davison had 3 fish from 4 lbs to 8 lbs on wed and dave borwell had a 7 1/2 lb cod and a 1 lb eel on thurs , plus there were a few smaller ones on the north pier .
