What time you heading down Mick? I'm torn between Horden and the Walkway but edging towards the beach. Might see you down there.

not sure if i am now. Mates just been down and reckons its pretty heavy still. Might try morning hw if not. If I am it'll be 9ish tonight at North End of beach mate.

Thanks for that Mick. Could be the Tyne for me after all, last time I fished Horden in big conditions was same night as that Buffs match when no-one could hold bottom. Sounds like it might be similar tonight.

yeah thats what we thinking as it wont fill up being a blocker and may just be fishing white water. Tomorrow night looks better but think we gonna give morning tide a go.

Sea has died right away. Ended up with 4, I suspect there would have been more and a better stamp had the tide been a bit better.

Well done Sean, I had three Dabs at the Walkway, two of them 30cm crackers that came home for tea. Only saw on codling caught and he looked well undersize.

All night I had a sneaking feeling I'd made the wrong call, but living 15 miles inland I can't afford the diesel to get to an unfishable beach then add another 20 miles to the drive to get somewhere else
