conoflex anubis ?

i have the annubis plus and love it too bits, its an awesome rod, i have used conoflex for years and have only just started to use century rod this last year, but the annubis plus and the enigma nrg 2000 come out all of the time, they can pull the plug out of the sea matey ;D
yip, they changed the label on the rod, my old annubis plus just had the annubis egyptian head on it in gold with annubis plus wrote on it and conoflex, the new annubis plus i have has a new label, i think its a white square with a flag or red cross in it, sure its the english flag, the rest is the same. i think standard they come with gold and black whipping, but i have seen them in blue, this may have been a custom build though. but the new one i got direct from conoflex was black and gold the same as my older one 
got a load of conoflex rods, cant fault them, the annubis plus is a good casting rod, bite detection is really good and you cant pull bully fish through the rough stuff and kelp no problem, it dosnt not lock up like alot of other rods do.
im in blyth, if you want to have a cast of it or a look at it, just drop me a message, no problem better way to make your mind up.

the 1 i sold originaly came from spotty dog and was built in all blue with blue xwrap shrink on it .
myne wat i kept was built in plain black as it was custom built by the lad i got it off. i got it stripped down and rebuilt after a couple of seasons.
i dont use it much now as i tend to use me ttr. id probably say the anubis plus is probably around the same action as the m427 su. with a solid butt and mid section with a nice tip action.
i have never seen anybody using a standard anubis though so i cant coment on it.

conoflex are made from carpet backing, i wouldnt have one. the reason being, a good mate had his own tackle shop and people were bringing them back on piece, snapped. conoflex wanted nowt to do with it so he took them to court and won hands down.
this was a few years ago but its put me off them.

aye you wouldnt want to be doing your 5 bed hoose with it like or a bungalow for that matter lol
to be honest, my annubis plus is not as stiff as i thought it would be, i love them.
conoflex have made class rods for years, i snapped my first second hand annubis plus, butthat was my own fault, it had been off the tripod a few times in heavy winds, dont know what previous owner had done either, but it was well used and i was giving it some uber stick that night.
thats has been sorted and is awesome as is the new one i have.
conoflex have been making quality rods for years, dont let anyone put you off, as for the they didnt want to know comment, steve couldnt do nough for me with regards to mine. i have seen lads snap all kinds of rods, never when casting or bringing in a fish, just by riving on, the rod is not designed to pull kelp stalks of rocks or move boulders from the sea bed lol
best to have a few chucks with one and see what you think, have a good of mine, the offer is there, pointless spending good money on a rod then not liking it and selling it at a lose, im off graft until long into the new year, im always out and dont mind. just let me know if you fancy it.
