If you had a choice out of the 2 what would you choose and your reason why

century wr300

conoflex nemesis plus slr

wr - but in the 14' model.... better build, better materials and generally a better fishing rod.
Personally I use the CMBB 15' - got two of them - absolutely fabulous bit of kit.
Also got the CCC - which I'm not too sure about yet!!!

i use the cono-flex nemesis plus slr. no complaints at all about it. Use to have a Century formula sc6, find the nemesis better for casting.

i would choose the rod that suited my style of casting and fishing the best, have always said what suits one does not always suit another.

thats all well m8 but when your gonna be buying a rod of around £300 you cant test drive it like a car :(

anglers are your only chance as mags only give praise as they are paid for it

ask barney wright when he nearly got sacked for it ;)

i use a zziplexx 2500 and was after a stiffer rod a few years ago . reelsport lent me a response for a week and im not a regular customer.

nemesis+ for rock and rough ground work, its just a work horse and i cant fault it.

my CCS is a great rod with casting capability second to non but it flapps around in the wind like a flag pole lol

cheers

I would go for a Century, I've got two, an old Century long ezee sport (which has seen better days) but non the less still a good rod, and a Reelsport Response, which is a cracking piece of kit.

i have a 15 foot wr300 and think it is a cracking rod .I sold a nemisis plus slr last year did not like it at all.Try a zziplex lt bullit they are also a good rod if you want to try one send me a pm

It's the same rod with a slightly modified gearbox, but it is also autoclaved to retain the action for far longer. That is according to Century.
