Wanting to get out fishing Thursday or Friday and wondering on the best place to go bait fishing. It will be the flood ill be fishing once wor lass finishes work too. Thanks for the info in advance lads.

If u don't wanna lose too much gear try a little further up the tyne. You could always try fishing from marsden beach. jarra park is good for flounders.

I'm right next to marsden like. Where is best to fish up there though mate? Just on the grotto beach?

When you come down marsden steps where the lifeguard hut about 50 yards to the left is called holmesys gut fish 2 hours down to low water hour slack water and 2 hours up cracking shot when you catch it right DO NOT fish it up to high water as the cliffs are very dodgey and prone to collapse and if u move up to marsden rock fish the left hand side infornt on the grotto up and down very good shot on its day too don't expect too much this time of year give it a month or so and ull have a good chance of cod there
