Crabstick tourney up the mull

we are doing the crabstick tourney this weekend
it is our european leg up the mull
6 of us going up 4.30saturday morning and coming back sunday afternoon

£5 per man dont no whether its longest,heaviest or best fish
heard the weather and fishing not been the best but me,baz and young dons 1st time so going to make the most of it
hope to put a cracking report when we get back
hoping for a pb pollack or a wrasse which i have never caught
cant wait like a kid waiting for xmas
down side im sharing a tent with mad rob .....only joking m8

I've been checking the weather forecast and the weather looks mixed on Saturday then brightening up on Sunday, not too windy so that looks good.
Looking forward too it, there might be all 3 species of rockling there if I'm really lucky

You will enjoy it mate. I did last weekend. I haven't done a catch report yet. Too busy working on the house. I caught a wrasse fishing off the rocks to the left of the little camp site we stayed on. One of my mates got one as well both on rag. You should call in to mariners coffee shop in drumore if ya want something to eat. We went in and asked if he had anything to eat and he answered" ill make ya owt ya want. And bring your cans in." The bait was spot on and it wasn't expensive. The bloke who owns it is called Andy and he fishes and can tell ya about a few marks. And if your comp is longest fish it'll be a doggie that wins. I lost count how many we caught.
Is this a wrasse just so I know for sure.

Cheers. The one my mate caught was much darker than mine. It was more of a orange red colour. Wasn't as big as mine either.

I think it was Codseeker first used "Crabstick Gang" from then it's been the Crabstick Comp.

You'll get one mate. Mine was on a size 2/0 hook. It wasn't that far out either if it helps.
