I was fishing last night, managed to get a birds nest, not as bad as that. In the past, i've gone snip snip but people keep telling me to be patient so, picking out the loops i gradually got it free after ten mins shining my head torch!

I reckon the biggest chance of getting a nest is the chuck after you've just unpicked a nest.

For a proper nest I'd recomend just servicing ya reel, loading it with new line, going for a chuck and forgetting to reset the magnets and hitting the cast with mega force. This will create a very impressive specticle unfolding right before your eyes!
I used this very method with an abu rocket, the end result was a reel that no longer fitted in its case!:red:

depending on the birds nest unpicking it then continue using could result in a weak spot in the line ...would normally just swap reels. unless nothing else to swap then try and and unpick and hope for the best...
