Craster on friday

Going to head up to Craster on Friday, my mate wants to check out Rumbling Kern but having had a look at the pictures, Im not so sure.

Does anyone know of any other spots close (ish) by that might be slightly more forgiving??

the rougher the ground the better chance of a decent fish believe i,ve lost loads of gear lately in the rocks and kelp beds but had a few canny fish out makes it all worth it
