Has anyone every tried the beach at craster just at the back of the golfcourse as it looks spot on but never heard of anyone fishing there , would save a hell of a walk to the castle thats for sure . Any info would be great , thinking of trying up there tuesday nyt

Fished on the rocks just in front of the harbour a few times and seen cod to 7lb. Never tried up near the castle as it is a mile walk (says on the sign post just before the coastal path) Although heard some cracking reports from there over the years.. Hope this helpful!

should be werth a try a think mate rocks rather then the beach did you get a new rod 4 got to ask wen a was at urs

Cheers mate , I we have fished behind the castle but the tide was really big and it was no gd . Nxt to the golf course theres a beach before u get to the castle, looks like alot cleaner ground and the beach really slopes down looks like deep water . Looks fishy but never heard of anyone fishing there just reports from cullernose point and behind the castle
