Fished a reccy session at craster last night 3 down to low water and 1up.
Expected to be battered by these westerly winds we've had to put up with but it was dead calm In fact it was a lovely cold stary night with shooting stars and even a thunderstorm way out at sea!
Anyway back to the fishing
3 of these little guys on crab. All went back safely. Can't seem to get into the bigger fish lately!

And I caught this stonking 3llb doggie
Thought it might have been a small huss but its Deffo a lsd.

So there's my pb doggie

I caught a 3lb doggy at craster on Saturday gone, my mate god a 2.5lb. Codling as well , flat seas ..

well done mate nice night to be out in aswell did you fish to the south of the harbour or the north i usually fish the black hole but have found it hard going lately always fancied trying some of the marks up towards the castle but would'nt know where to start lol.

Hello mate, I started at the black hole but moved onto cullernose after a few blank casts.
I've never done much at the black hole, I've heard its a good mark though, meybe I'm fishing it wrong! Casting wrong place distance ect.

same here mate i've lost count of how many times i,ve fished there and i've only ever had the 1 productive session about 2 year ago where i managed 2 nice cod both just under5 pound but this was in a very big sea around january time, the 1st few hours of the flood was when i got them did'nt really cast far either about 50 yds slightly to the left it looks a deep mark tho and i would imagine some big fish come from there in the right conditions.
