after seeing daves headlamp in action last night thinking of getting one as they look quality. anyway as there is so many on ebay i'm wondering if anyones got a link for the decent cree ones as i have been told that their are some which are better than others.

bought me a petzl zoom 20 quid..with battery and spare bulb suits me just fine....its good old skool yellow light ....cree gives u white light ....good for a back up i guess for the price but get a good main one buddy .....

Blind curtis with mine all the time adam :P mint headlamps, some of the ones that are around a fiver are made different and some are better than others, i got a second the cheapest i could find with 300lumens and its not as bright as my other one and the build quality isn't as good. This one looks simalar to the first one i got(the better one) and not from hong kong so post fast not the usual month wait.

had a few of these cheap lamps bright enough for any sort of fishing, get the 1s where u can zoom in by moving the light forward n backwards. iv just baught 4 of the 1s with out the wire going to the battery pack as iv snapped the wire going to the battery on my led lenser which was better but for a fiver u cant go wrong
 
well RECOMENDED, my uncle has a lensnar h7 and paid full wack 4 it, on purchasing a cree headlight the other day off ebay 4 a fiva he has said the cree out does the the h7 by a long way. dont get me wrong the h7 is a top head lamp but nothin compares 2 the cree 4 the price. I think the build quality is excellent 4 wot u pay, we ordered 2 and they came the nxt day from a seller in the uk, personally i wudnt order anything from china.... but hey thats just me.... cree 8/10 :eek:
 
i have a CreeLenser :D ledlenser headlamp wire had snapped going into the battery pack which was differcult to repare small and fidgety so i had a old cree with batterry pack and fixed me ledlenser to its 3 AAA battery holder pack now i have the CreeLenser ;)

now i carnt argue on which is the best now :D
