Hi lads,

Fished the above last Sunday for an hour and a half. I landed a couple of fish and lost a couple to the shelves but i did manage to catch a codling on video for the first time…finally. Sorry it's taken so long to get the vid online but this video malarkey is new to me. Click on the link below for a quick catch report. Hope you enjoy and look forward to receiving your comments.

Cheers lads, I thought the music might have been a bit like marmite. Lol

Heard you nearly made it out on thursday Marc, there were only 2 fish landed between the 3 of us so you didn't miss much, maybe next time mate.

Wkd video mate haven't fished there since I was a bairn and that was just off the pier what's the ground like off the rocks and best time to fish thanks anth:thumbup:

Definitely mate enjoyed our little jaunts this season aswell
Eyemouth is the new St abbs Gary:), i scouted some new marks for you to try, at the end of the summer, with a bit of climbing involved but they're well worth it. Here's a quick vid from one of the days there. Roll on the summer lol

cheers mate.
It's a great spot for a few hours during the day but the ground is really rough. I always use a rotten bottom for my lead and i use hooks that bend out with a good pull. There are some clean patches of sand (Blue pin on the map below) but you need to get your rig up really quickly because there are 3 shelves near your feet that just munch gear.
You can fish it for 2 hours either side of low water as long as the tide is below 1.2m, i don't fish it if the tide is any bigger.
I have most luck on the 2 hours of ebb with a dieing swell.

Hope this helps :)

DaveyP Great video I think the the backing track suited it, nice one.
Keep them coming.
Like I said- Marmite :) Glad you liked it. I'm trying to get some night footage but i haven't figured out a light weight lighting system yet.

cheers

Enjoyable 6 mins and the best way to spend a cold mingin afternoon, and the sound tracks are getting heavier:) It's not often you get flat calm seas and a good days fishing, and rock fishing doesn't half take it out of you but you always sleep well after it.
