Cullercoats

Went out tonight to use up bait left over from the weekend. Went down to the prom at King Eddy's Bay and had two casts. Second cast caught a rockling and was joined by seven other anglers. Time for a move. Went up to the prom at Cullercoats and first cast hooked in to a fish. At first thought it was just a small fish aroung 3 lb but as it came closer it became eveident it was bigger. Couldn't see the fish in the water as my breath was freezing in front of my eyes. Decided to walk the fish to the ramp. Only problem was I was fishing in my trainers and not my chesties. Managed to land the fish between waves and couldn't believe the size. Took it to the club house and weighed on the scales at 8 lb 13 ozs. Fished for another hour and managed a large rockling. Try and get a picture put up tomorow.

If you go behind the Queens Head pub there's a small prom down there. That could be it.
