My mate had 4 dabs for 93 pounds of the fish quay beach today, best was 23 pounds.

Also, have Bass started showing yet?

Is the decimal point missing ?
A 23lb Dab could of been a baby Halibut, Skate.
OR,
A new pair of Scales.

even with decimal points if the best fish was 2.3lb and he had 4 for 9.3lb that leaves 7lb for 3 fish average for them is 2.53lb now that`s a mystery

He must have been fishing in Iceland (the Country not the shop) thats how big the dabs are.

Theres bass up to 155lb on Seaburn beach. My mate had 4 for 389lb last night on frozen french bread pizza and gherkin cocktails.
