death of a blackbird

There was 1 in her Mam's garden other day got a sparrow her dad reckons its there all the time but they do have loads of feeders out n always loads of small birds round

I've had one re-visiting the garden this last few days. Never seen it for a while. Spent 40 minutes last year watching it eating a wood pigeon. When I cleared it up it had one breast and half the other with some of the internal bits; a good feed I think. Will try to put some pictures up.

It dragged the pigeon across the garden for cover as well. Reading up I presume it's a female to take such a large bird.
