Me our lass and Jackson headed up to Derwent water for a bit of
trout fishing we got there about 7.30am and left about 3pm. the
morning was slow for me and Jackson we never had a bite Julie
seemed to find them she had 5 out and her biggest was 3lb.



She also managed to wangle a roach out on sweetcorn and rub salt in the
wounds. :lol!: :lol!: her first ever roach as well.



well the afternoon came and I landed a fish.



so did our Jackson here is his biggest 3lb 1oz.



we had a cracking day up there and it was another great family day
out we ended up with 15 trout Julie ended up with 6 trout and a roach
our Jackson ended up with 4 trout and the biggest I ended up 5 trout.

Nice session for the 3 of yous Eddie mate, its always nice to catch after a disappointing start. Just got to get you into proper fishing now mate. Fly fishing lol

Canny little session. I like fishing Derwent but have found that the fish have very little fight in them as with all of the Northumbria water board fisheries. Fished grassholme last week and may as well have been reeling in a pair of wet socks. About time they spent some money and stocked with decent fish.
