finished work and headed straight up got my permit to comments of your brave 
strong nw wind so headed to the bay of plenty no shelter there but at least the wind was over my shoulder started with a dawsons olive nowt after 15 mins changed to a cats whisker and the first bow came to the net followed by one more then I got a savage take with the fish running straight towards the bank I couldnt get line back quick enough it turned and headed off to the dam wall taking me down to the backing after a good battle a 3 1/2 l/b blue trout was in the net it must of over wintered like a bar of sliver and fully finned packed up and headed home after that as I couldnt feel my hands hard work but worth it
