Hello guys i took my lad and our dog for a walk round today. The resevoir opened up for fishing yesterday. Its gone up £2. So it is £20 a day now. Still not to bad. The resevoir has a LOT of water in it. In fact its the highest i have ever seen it.
Saw a few people Pow Hill side with some rainbows all around 2LB mark. All caught ledgering with power bait.
It was very cold with the NE blowing.
I could see on the opposite side of the resevoir a few people fly fishing. By all accounts this is doing the bizz. So too is spinning (bet thats like a swear word to fly men).
My Diawa neoprene waders came the other day size 10. I should have listened to Insano and got an 11. I,m posting them back to Tackle Trade tomorrow for the 11,s.
I,ll be down when the cold wind subsides.
