Good argument for a points based, catch & release comp.
I bet they wouldn\'t have been kept had they been caught whilst \"pleasure\" fishing and not in a competition situation.

If they had at least thrown them back into the sea they at least could have been eaten by other fish, crabs, seagulls etc.

If the organisers of that match are aware of the situation the should feel totaly ashamed, if not they should be made aware.

It is disgusting and ALL clubs should be looking at this situation.
Where does all the Flatties and Whiting go from our local comps,they get binned :exclam:
Whats more important,fish stocks and keeping our sport clean or winning that Greys Nitra or the £1000 first prize,say no more,at least these look like they were dumped in the sea/shoreline I\'ve seen bags of fish dumped in wheelie bins and skips :exclam:

on one hand the whole internet is up in arms about this and fair enough but on the other theres a huge fish hanging upside down dead?it probably craps more than that in a day.
