Dunstinburgh castle

Long walk but take in few marks on the way.......park in car park on the way in, it's a couple of quid for the day if that. Head towards the harbour then turn left, through the gates and keep walking north, go through castle gates and turn right, past the ticket office, say hello and let them know you are fishing the rocks. follow the wall all the way to bottom right hand corner where there is a hole in the wall. You are there. Enjoy, it's beautiful spot

Next time i'm there shal I have a chat with the people in charge with running the castle? I mean I certainly wouldn't mind paying like 2/3 quid in order to fish those rocks, and if I'm honest most chavs can't even afford weights so this might deter them. I was at blyth north jetties from 12-7 yesterday just having a nice evening untill a group of them turned up, throughly unprepared for fishing the harbour. I had Gemini grips, they had 2 1cm nuts taken from a car or something, so while Me and my gf were holding bottom they every single cast were crossing over mine and my gf's line. This got old after 5 times in 30 mins and I ended up cutting his line (held into his gear with one hand). 4 warnings and a through explanation were not enough. Of course him and his friends went offit. They came over and said what did you do that for!!! I was like of your fishing the harbour please come prepared. I'm not spending all day having to bring my line in every 5 mins because you can't hold bottom. I handed him his rig and his friends try and start something. I was having none of it, stood my ground they got a bit scared when I shouted. And left so all in all an eventful evening

Fished blyth pier yesterday it was a siht tip i was disgusted. I picked a carrier bag full up but thats all i had. I do wish the council would put waste bins along the pier aswell tho.

Seen allot of lads coming of the north peir last night, supposeably the walk is just terrible anyone wonna comment on it lol?

yes its not the best pier to get onto climbing over fences up and down ladders and even a barrier you have to swing around...not ideal infact a bit hairy and dangerous.
