Not one to mention anything about the weather but is it going to be another terrible weekend ??? nudge nudge wink wink ? say no more for a change?;) fingers "X`ed" and all that:D

hmnnn! looking at the windy weathry charty things, its a hard one to call, one of those ones where it might start alright then get a bit not alright, or just be alright.

light onshore winds generally forecast... which usually means it could do anything!

According to those windy weathery charty things, it might be a bit wet, but then again it might not be. If its windy, it might not be so wet as what it might be if its not so windy and if it is a bit wet then it might not be so windy as it was yesterday.

Well dont plan anything for Saturday, its my first day off in two weeks so it will be at least 20mph NE winds and rain :)

You gotta love the English summer :)

The Pansy actually lives in a giant inflatable bubble, so is totally immune to the windy stuff and has the advantage that if we run out of fuel the crew can be put to work in a hamster stylee to pedal the bubble home

been thinking of gatecrashing loads of childrens party's and stealing their balloons so we can fill her with helium and save even more on fuel by making her float about 3 foot above the sea, although the coastguard might not take us seriously if we have to speak at all at all

*This is MFV Pansy - our current location is runway 3 Aberdeen Airport*

It's doesn't matter whether you sound like Sir Trevor McDonut, Jimmy Nail or someone who's just sucked on the balloon - they will laugh, then offer advice :)

just looking at xcweather's wind map this morning, in th space of 12 hours or so there's be nor westerlies, northerlies, easterlies, south westerlies and southerlies!

Yeah theres a big low centred over us at the moment its fairly big and we`re near the centre hence no wind then east then west etc if it stays (as it appears to before slowly moving off into the north sea to be followed by another low) we`ll be fine.

Note this is a link so will vary as time passes but fits the above condition as of Thursday 10th July

Met Office: Surface pressure forecast
