was down at the beach with the kids this morning 3 flatties and 2 basss all went back except 1 bass so thats my tea sorted

It's a fact, commercial fishermen will wipe the place out, as well as many others that will keep all the undersize fish, shame but that's what happens.

lolipop meant no harm everyone knows there are bass along this beach, but i'm sure when i speak to him tonight he'll edit the location out.
Is this keeping locations secret go for other fish too or is it just bass? just for future reference.

Fished up the top at wansbeck last night, only small coalies and flounders,

good luck, I still havent caught one yet! went down tonight for 5 hours and blanked, grrrr!

I hate Cambois Ramp. I always hear of people catching Bass there but whenever I fish it I catch nowt but little flatties. Must have fished it at least 20 times and have only ever caught 1 small codding, 1 small bass, a couple of small coalies and any amount of flatties. Never kept a fish from there.

yeah its a frustrating mark, you know it can produce but can be hit or miss, all or nowt! the reason why it is fished so much is because it is easily accessed by those who cant walk far, and those who just want a cople hours of fishing with the chance of summit decent chucked in.

plus its not far to go from my place.......

you dont need to take any bait to because in 15 minutes you can dig your own from the harbor just before you get there. nice little fat harbor ragworm great for the flatties...
