aye sless he just can`t keep away from them (I have to use photoshop on all his pics to change the fish from scotchies)

I am out at Craster on the 27th so hope it fairs up. Fished it ont he 31st last year and had 2 boot lace ling, 4 codling and 11 coalie, not the best but maybe better than this year.

Don't know if it's relevant Norm but the lat / long on my chart says 44.00N 17.00E......I get that to be in the Dinaric Alps in Croatia.......might be why it's a tad nippy as well. lol.

To be honest ALL my best trips co-inside with the first boat trip that i caught mackerel on, now i dont often use bait on the wrecks our days, only in the later months for the ling as i like using 8lb and 12lb class rods with a pirk or leadhead on.

Things defo seem to be later than last year, still catching alot of whiting of good size from the shore, not heard any reports of launce yet (last eyar catchign them from Seaham pier in late March.

If we get as many west winds in the summer month as we have in the winter then i am sure it will be a good season (little less than gale force mind :) )

had me wondering there for a moment Dave in case I`d got th position wrong ... but no defo tynemouth 55degs north :) :)
