Easter Weekend ....

Well, just seen the BBC weather this morning, and things have changed, so hopefully an improvement in sea conditions:rolleyes: over the Sunday and Monday:)

Heres a nice looking boat rob Leeward 18 fishing boat | eBay

The guy selling it has had 2 of them he swears by them and wont have a bad word said about them, He sold his first and it took him over 2 years to find another strange as he is now selling it!!

I always wanted one till I went on one in a slight chop and I thought my back was going to break and I would need new teeth at the end of the journey.

For me there are tons of boats about and some are silly money just waiting to be hit with a decent offer, there are Jeanneau Marlin 6's at 29k for a new one which the list is near 38k and the knock on is there are second hand ones at 20k now

Plenty of choice and some fantastic deals to be had there is a warrior 175 at 15k with an almost new 115 motor on it and it has been treated like a baby

Plenty about but a bit of traveling needed

Anyway I wish the guy good luck in finding the right boat

Sean

Nice boat tho...:D

You know the budget..£**,*** ish...;)

Do ya still get pound notes in Scotland ?...

you need to be looking at a nice merry fisher 925, you'll save on dig money when you take her to whitby, or berth up on the quayside at the toon for a bit of mussels in white wine and a cruise around TK Max, call for her favourite meal, the takeaway mega donner kebab....... then hit a few wrecks on the way home while she spends 2 hours munchin kebab, win win situation........good eh

Youre missing the point Paul, its a floating Gin Palace, not a fishing boat, the most it will travel will be 50mm boucing off the fenders, or up and down causing ripples...:D;)

Your not far off on the timing tho...:D

Anyway, just got back to the hotel after a mooch around loch Lomond, plenty of those nice cruisers there...had a good look at some of them, the bride is quite keen.....ripples...wahey...;)

Time for a shower then off out on the lash....
