A one third of that size will do me nicelyThat is 56 miles from where i am going this year, i told that fish not to take anything silver or orange before we get there in July![]()
hope your m8's put up a report it would be nice to see some good photo'sThis time of year you get all the Artic cod comming close in to spawn, the fish are harder to find but when you find them a double a drop is not uncommon and fish to 30lb get caught daily, some mates are going in a few weeks time so i look forward to their reports. We go in July, not as many big fish around as most the piggys have moved back out to sea but the numbers of fish go up and the shoals of coalie to 25lb increase as the days go on.It is a great part of the world and an area i ahve wanted to fish all ym boating life, the price is what holds most of us back and the 16hrs+ of flights, ferry's etc but your best chance of a new PB.
As always weather is key, poor weather you wont get out fishing, good weather and abit of luck in finding the marks holding fish and you could be winding up doubles every drift.
In Norway they do treat the waters well both river and sea, infact i was told the port we are going to fish from has 2 Russian trawlers tied up as found fishing in the Norway waters.
